The SSES Annual meeting will be held at the “Uni Mail” building of the University of Geneva. It is located in the city center at the following address:

There are a limited number of parking spaces available at the “Uni Mail” building but they are rather expensive. We strongly recommend using public transportation. If you stay in a hotel in Geneva, you can benefit from the Geneva transport card which enables you to use the local public transport network at no additional cost.

From the main train station (Gare Cornavin) tram number 15 takes you directly to the “Uni Mail” building (direction “Palettes”, stop “Uni Mail”). Bus number 1 and tram 12 and 13 also stop nearby (“Pont-d’Arve”).

If you arrive at the Cointrin airport, you can take the train to the main train station Cornavin (5 minutes) and connect with tram 15 to the University. Alternatively, you can take a bus to downtown. Bus number 10 will take you from the airport to the Cornavin train station and to the city center.

  At Uni-Mail, take tram 17 (direction: Moillesulaz) and get down at Bel-Air (Cité). Change to bus 2 (direction: Genève-Plage) and get off at the stop Parcs. Enter the park and walk up to the restaurant.

  This walk leads you along the Parc des Bastions (with the Reformation Wall), across the Place du Bourg-de-Four in the heart of the Old Town and along the lakefront with the Jet d'Eau.
