The Annual Congress on «Industrial Organization and Policy» will take place on June 4-5, 2026 at the University of St. Gallen with keynote lectures by Monika Schnitzer (LMU München), Andrew Rhodes (Toulouse School of Economics), and Simon Lörtscher (University of Melbourne).

Young Swiss Economists Meeting 2026

The Young Swiss Economists Meeting (YSEM) is an opportunity for PhD students and Postdocs to present their work, exchange ideas, and network with peers and established economists. The last meeting took place on February 12-13, 2026 at ETH Zurich centre campus.

2025 Awards

The Economic Journalism Award 2025 goes to Mathilde Farine, the SSES Young Economist Award 2025 to Marcel Caesmann, Janis Goldzycher, Matteo Grigoletto and Lorenz Gschwent, and the SJES Best Paper Award 2025 to Brendan Berthold.
