The Annual Congress on «New Designs for the Market Economy» took place on June 26-27, 2025 at KOF ETH Zurich with keynote lectures by Gianmarco Ottaviano (Bocconi), Evi Pappa (Universidad Carlos III), and Reinhilde Veugelers (KU Leuven).

Young Swiss Economists Meeting 2025

The Young Swiss Economists Meeting (YSEM) is an opportunity for PhD students and Postdocs to present their work, exchange ideas, and network with peers and established economists. The last meeting took place on February 13-14, 2025 at ETH Zurich centre campus.

2025 Awards

The Economic Journalism Award 2025 goes to Mathilde Farine, the SSES Young Economist Award 2025 to Marcel Caesmann, Janis Goldzycher, Matteo Grigoletto and Lorenz Gschwent, and the SJES Best Paper Award 2025 to Brendan Berthold.
